Dope is an American nu metal band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1997 in New York City, New York.

The band received some level of success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. To date, the band has released four full-length studio albums, and plan to release No Regrets, their fifth studio album, on March 10th, 2009.
